A small example, before you decide
Entirely simulated data. Ten available units each night and a chosen target of 65%:
| Stay date | Booked / available | Gap to target |
|---|---|---|
| 1 November 2026 | 5 / 10 | 2 unit-nights |
| 2 November 2026 | 6 / 10 | 1 unit-night |
| 3 November 2026 | 4 / 10 | 3 unit-nights |
The report starts with 3 November, the largest gap, then 1 and 2 November. Total gap: six unit-nights. The daily target is rounded up to a whole unit.
This is an arithmetic planning gap. It is not a market benchmark, a demand forecast, lost revenue or a promise of bookings. No customer results are shown here.
Four columns are enough
Use these exact headers in a CSV or paste a table into your email:
snapshot_date,stay_date,available,sold_total 2026-10-30,2026-11-01,10,5
Dates use YYYY-MM-DD. available means total sellable units for that night; sold_total means units already booked. Unit categories, direct/OTA split and booked room revenue are optional. Missing channels stay unknown. One snapshot supports the current picture; two comparable snapshots support pickup.

Unsure whether your export fits? Request a free compatibility check. Tell us your number of units, the period you want to observe and whether you can provide sellable and booked units per night. This request does not place an order.
What does the report help me decide?
Which supplied stay dates have the largest gap to your target, which data needs checking and which standard operational checks to start with. The report does not establish the cause of weak demand by itself.
What happens if I have no channel or revenue split?
The core report uses availability and booked totals. Channel mix and revenue metrics are included only when the required data is complete. They are never invented.
Snapshot is a standard data report. The free LSG Revenue Audit remains a separate qualitative diagnosis; existing free pilot agreements keep their agreed terms. Snapshot does not include rate management, marketing execution or guaranteed commercial results.
