LSG Method Registry — Hotel Weak-Date Frameworks & Metrics

Public registry · Version 1.2 · 2 October 2026

The Low Season Growth Method Registry records named frameworks, metrics and decision-support assets developed and maintained by Low Season Growth. Its purpose is to make provenance, version history and citation clearer while separating LSG methods from generic hospitality advice.

LSG Weak-Date Diagnostic — v1.0

A four-part framework for diagnosing a weak hotel period before choosing the response. It separates demand, fit/positioning, distribution and conversion problems.

LSG Peak-to-Trough Concentration Gap — v1.0

An LSG descriptive metric used in public seasonality research to compare concentration between stronger and weaker tourism periods. It is an LSG calculation, not an official indicator from the underlying source institution.

Weak-Date Revenue Gap Calculator — v1.0

A planning tool for estimating the additional occupied room nights and indicative room revenue between a current position and a chosen occupancy target for one defined weak period. It is decision support, not a demand forecast.

LSG Lift — v0.1

A developing action framework that connects diagnosed weak-date problems to commercial execution across demand, offer, distribution, conversion and follow-up.

Open LSG Lift →

LSG Intelligence — Beta 0.1

The decision-support layer being developed by Low Season Growth for hotel weak dates. The public beta explains the diagnostic and decision logic; internal models, accumulated learning data, CRM information and private operating rules remain private.

100-Property Low Season Benchmark 2026

An open research project designed to build comparable real-world evidence around weak-demand periods at independent hospitality properties. The final published sample will report actual usable responses rather than treating the recruitment target as achieved.

LSG Weak-Date Case Study Protocol — v1.0

A public measurement and reporting protocol for keeping hotel weak-date projects comparable across baseline, diagnosis, actions, commercial signals, bookings, cancellations and completed stays.

Working vocabulary: see the Hotel Weak-Date Glossary for operational definitions used across LSG research and decision-support content.

Evidence ledger

Method registration records provenance and versions. The separate LSG Evidence Ledger records which assets currently qualify as published research, public tools, open research, external publications or mature commercial case-study evidence.

LSG Evidence Standard — v1.0

The LSG Evidence Standard defines E0–E5 evidence levels so hypotheses, commercial signals, confirmed bookings, completed stays, mature cases and incremental/causal evidence are not conflated.

Machine-readable standard →

Versioning and citation

Material changes to a registered method should increment its version so the evolution of the framework remains identifiable over time. When citing a named LSG method, include the method name, version where relevant, Low Season Growth and the canonical URL or DOI.

Scope

This registry records public provenance and version history. It does not claim exclusivity over broad concepts such as hotel seasonality, revenue management, direct booking or demand analysis, and it is not a substitute for formal intellectual-property registration.

Machine-readable registry and public history are also maintained in the Low Season Growth public GitHub repository.
