LOW SEASON GROWTH METHOD
One weak period. Four steps. One measurable test.
LSG Lift is the operating method Low Season Growth uses to move from a weak booking period to focused commercial action. It does not treat every slow period as a pricing problem, and it does not promise bookings.
1. Find
Start with one specific date window, not “low season” in general. We separate what is known from what still needs to be tested: availability, rate, booking path, guest mix, channels, previous offers and operational constraints. The first question is whether the gap is mainly demand, market fit, distribution, offer or conversion.
2. Build
Choose one priority guest, one clear offer, one booking action and the smallest useful channel mix. Depending on the property and agreed scope, that can include a direct-booking offer, lawful past-guest reactivation, a local partnership, social content or targeted commercial outreach. Discounting is not the default.
3. Launch
Turn the decision into live actions and usable materials. The property approves rates, availability, permissions and guest-facing communication. LSG prepares the agreed strategy and materials; content production or hands-on activation is included only where specifically agreed.
4. Measure
Record what can actually be observed: visits or booking-page clicks where available, enquiries, quotes, CRM responses, direct bookings attributable where technically possible, and implementation blockers. We do not attribute every booking in the period to LSG.
How an LSG case study is documented
Before — the exact weak dates, baseline, commercial problem and constraints.
Action — what was actually changed or launched, on which channels and on what dates.
Evidence — measurable signals and commercial outcomes, including zero results where that is what happened.
Learning — what to keep, change or stop, and what the next test should be.
Public case studies are published only with the property’s approval. Observed facts, hypotheses and missing data remain separate.
Examples of actions LSG Lift can test
- a specific offer for selected weak dates;
- a clearer social-to-direct-booking path;
- a past-guest reactivation test where the property can lawfully contact those guests;
- a local experience or partner offer;
- a simple enquiry / CRM follow-up workflow;
- a focused content-and-offer test with measurable calls to action.
Not every project uses every action. The point is to run the smallest useful test around a real commercial need.
