Editorial Standards & Corrections Policy — Low Season Growth

Last updated: 24 September 2026

Low Season Growth publishes hospitality market intelligence, research notes, operating frameworks and news analysis for hotel, accommodation and travel professionals. This page explains how LSG selects sources, separates fact from interpretation and handles corrections.

1. Publisher and editorial scope

Publisher: Low Season Growth (lowseasongrowth.com).

Core coverage includes hotel performance, tourism demand, seasonality, distribution, revenue management, hotel sales, hospitality investment, development, technology and market structure.

2. Source hierarchy

LSG prioritizes sources in the following order:

  1. Official statistics and public authorities.
  2. Primary company releases, regulatory filings and first-party datasets.
  3. Established hospitality data providers and research firms.
  4. Credible specialist trade publications and major news organizations.
  5. Other sources only when clearly identified and independently verifiable.

Where practical, articles link directly to the underlying source used for each material factual claim.

3. Facts, estimates and interpretation

LSG distinguishes reported facts from its own editorial interpretation. Forward-looking estimates, forecasts and third-party opinions are attributed to the organization or author that produced them. LSG does not present a forecast as an observed result.

4. Data handling

Percentage changes, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, arrivals, guest nights and related metrics are reproduced or calculated only from cited sources. When LSG makes a calculation from public data, the calculation is described as an LSG calculation rather than as a source-provided figure.

5. News and analysis format

The LSG Hospitality Signal Brief uses a simple structure: what happened, the source, and what it may mean commercially. The first two elements are factual; the final element is analysis.

6. Corrections policy

If a material factual error is identified, LSG will correct the affected article as soon as reasonably possible. Material corrections should be reflected in the article itself rather than silently changing the meaning of the original publication.

Correction requests can be submitted through the contact page. Please include the article URL, the statement in question and supporting evidence.

7. Sponsorship and commercial interests

Editorial and research content should not disguise paid promotion as independent analysis. Sponsored, affiliate or commercially supported material should be clearly labelled when applicable.

8. Use of AI-assisted tools

LSG may use AI-assisted tools to accelerate research, organization, transcription, translation or drafting. Material factual claims should still be checked against identifiable sources before publication. Editorial responsibility remains with Low Season Growth.

9. Research methodology

For longer-form research and Low Season Growth Research Notes, see the Research Methodology page. For published datasets, evidence maps and citation guidance, visit LSG Research and Cite Low Season Growth.

10. Contact and accountability

Questions about LSG research, media use, corrections or methodology can be submitted through the contact page. Media resources are available via the Research & Media page.

11. Hospitality News Desk

Current industry coverage is published through the Low Season Growth Hospitality News Desk. New editions are also available through the Insights Atom feed.
